Hey babes! I can’t believe its already February! I hope you guys are all sticking to your new years goals and feeling fit and strong already. If your like most people, myself included, life gets in the way quickly when it comes to finding time to work out everyday. Being a momma of a 3 year old means there is about 10 minutes to myself each day to get something done before he wants me to play, haha! Anyways, you girls are always asking about my workouts and what I am doing to stay in shape so… I am dying to share some of my favorite workouts with you. My workouts are really so quick, but you will be working hard the entire time! No more standing around the gym not knowing which machine to do next! haha! All about efficiency for me, I mean who has time to spend all day at the gym! These workouts have really been such an easy and fast way to get my body toned and fit in the new year! I hope they will help with your busy lives too!
I have always loved working out. It has always been my peace, my stress relief and my way to feel healthy and great about myself. I love workouts from home because it cuts the time I need to spend to get in a burn, especially now with a toddler. I even remember doing the Cindy Crawford leg workout from home when I was in junior high, haha! They also help me stick to a plan, which is crucial for me. So, when I found out about Kayla Itsines, I was on board to try it out, why not right?! I can’t begin to tell you how amazing this program is. You can now just download the app and get started. It’s 28 minutes of hard work, that leans your body out and shapes your muscles. I like lean feminine muscles and if this is the style you like, then this is the workout for you! I think it’s the first time my butt has been up in the right spot since Van, haha! I was so dedicated to this workout before Tulum this past year and it was the best my body has ever looked. I promise it works. Its hard, but you aren’t going to achieve anything transformational without a little pain involved right?!
We also invested in the Peloton bike. Unless you have been living in a hole, you have seen the commercials! But in case you weren’t paying attention, It’s an at home cycle class by (live online or on-demand) instructors that kick your booty. Even when I’m exhausted, I still can hop on the bike and knock out 20 minutes and feel re-energized. Its a favorite of Kevin’s too. Most days I enjoy it more than yoga! Its definitely an investment, but worth every penny. I do these workout together and see really amazing results!
Here is what my workouts for the week look like:
Mon-Wed-Fri: 3 days of BBG for 28 minutes followed by a 30 minute Peloton class. I also walk the beach at least 2 days a week, and Hot yoga every Monday. I know this sounds like a lot but its only 3 hours a week for BBG and Peloton together. Not only has this helped me physically achieve my goals, but it clears my mind and helps me be the best mom I can be. Seems pretty easy to me, and I know you will notice a huge change in your mindset along with your Bod!!
I cant wait to hear what your favorite workouts are! Hope you guys get some inspiration to keep going or add a few more active things to your life. Have the best weekend babes!
